About the PRO (Protect the Right to Organize) Act
The PRO Act gives workers the freedom to be safe and respected at work. It allows us to come together with our coworkers and talk with our bosses about workplace issues, like scheduling and dress code, without fear of unfair firing. The PRO Act puts power in the hands of workers so we can feel confident, proud, and protected at work.
Under current labor law, employers do not have to give any reason for firing us. That means many employees know that their boss could fire them at any time for any reason — this is especially true for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC workers, who are fired at higher rates than white and straight workers. The PRO Act would give us the right to come together with our co-workers and demand safer, more accepting workplaces without risk of firing. So that we can be #PROActProud at work.
Sign the petition to the US Senate, and tell them to pass the PRO Act now!
